I was recently looking for the best wah pedal for my money and decided on the Bad Horsie 2. I love it!
I’ve owned Crybabies in the past and I love them too but this thing is very cool. My favorite thing about it is how easy it is to use because of it being “spring loaded”. It’s basically always on and automatically engages when you step down on it. Want to disengage it and put it in bypass mode? Just staep away from it and the spring takes it back to the off position automatically.
Not only does that make it easy to use, it sounds great too!
i have been thinking about starting up some guitar lessons again – even though I have been playing for quite a long time now. I feel like my guitar playing improvements has been stagnant for the last little while and I think getting some more lessons can help get me out of this rut.
It is always good to seek out some help from a good guitar teacher no matter how experienced you are. There’s always someone that can teach you more and bring your playing to a new level.
I am looking forward to it! I actually came across this site which is kind of a guitar lessons near me directory. Heck, I may even sign myself up as a teacher too!
Since Christmas is just around the corner, I have been thinking about giving myself a small present – yes, I know, how selfish of me! LOL! I have been wanting a new chorus pedal for awhile now. There are so many out there though that I find myself wanting to do some research and make sure I find the best chorus pedal for my style of music. I did find this great page that recommends the Small Clone.
I think that the Small Clone sounds awesome but I like the smaller size of the Neo Clone.
Definitely open to other suggestions!
Update – I came across this excellent best chorus pedal article that is naming the TC Electronic Corona Chorus as their choice for the best. I ended up taking their advice and getting it. I love it!
I have been playing guitar for a few years now and I thought it was time to start a blog as well after reading another guitar blog. I want this place to be where I can share guitar related news, videos, pictures and other guitar related stuff.
As far as my gear, I mainly use a Strat. I also have an Epiphone Les Paul which I love. For amps, I have a Marshall JCM900 as well as an old Fender Deluxe Reverb. It kind of gives me the best of both world. The Fender is great with my Strat and the Marshall sounds amazing with the Les Paul.
Here is my Strat!
I have also started collecting guitar pedals. I haven’t got a huge amount yet but I am building up my pedalboard.
What Did I Start Playing Guitar?
I have been playing for quite a few years – over 20 now. I started playing in high school back when guitar solos were all the rage. I remember learning songs from Guitar World magazine and my guitar teacher that I found here. (they had all the latest tabs back then, do they still do that?)
Stay tuned as I will be posting more as regularly as I can!
